Red Cross Swim Program

COVID-19 Facility Updates

Red Cross Swim Preschool:

The Red Cross Swim Preschool learn-to-swim program is for children ages four months to five years old, and their parents or caregivers. Lessons are designed to be fun, using lots of songs, games, and themes.

The first three levels of Red Cross Swim Preschool: Starfish, Duck and Sea Turtle, focus on water orientation and water safety.

The last five levels: Sea Otter, Salamander, Sunfish, Crocodile, and Whale, build swimming skills and teach age-specific water safety.

This program is designed to appeal to preschool children through games and activities that engage their imagination while they learn skills and increase their knowledge.

Red Cross Swim Kids:

The Red Cross Swim Kids program is a fun learn-to-swim program for children ages five and older. This 10-level program helps swimmers develop main swimming strokes: front crawl, back crawl, elementary back stroke, and breast stroke.

The program supports learning how to be safe in, on, and around the water. It also increases fitness and endurance through enjoyable activities.

Online registration is available to Recreation Association Members.

Swim Lessons Registration Dates and Schedules TBD.

Swim Lessons are offered one day per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays or Sundays. They are available on a first come, first serve basis.
