Notice: Postponement of Health Promotion Courses, Classes and Briefings

Health Promotion INVEST IN YOUR HEALTH - IT IS THE BEST RETIREMENT PLAN YOU COULD EVER WORK TOWARDS





Health Promotion has been given direction to postpone all programs, trainings, briefings, campaigns and initiatives until 06 April. This will include the following:
1. Interpersonal Communication (I/C) 26 Mar and 2 Apr
2. Respect in the CAF (RitCAF) Workshops from now until the week 20 Apr (at this time)
3. All Nutrition Month briefings/pop-ups
4. Injury Reduction Strategies (IRS) – 6 Apr
5. Managing Angry Moments (MAM) – 7, 14, 21, 28 Apr and 5, 12 May
6. Mental Fitness & Suicide Awareness (MFSA) – 24 Mar
 
For program already running, the HP facilitator will contact participants and work with them to complete the programming once we receive the go ahead to return to facilitating. 
 
As of Monday, 16 March, the HP office will be working from home and will have limited access to emails. There will be one member of the HP team in the office each day of the week. If you are looking to contact HP please email HealthPromotionKingston@cfmws.com.

Strengthening the Forces is a health promotion program designed to assist Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel, Regular and Primary Reserve, to take control of their health and well-being. Maintaining a high level of health improves one's ability to perform effectively and safely on CAF operations, and to enjoy a high quality of life.
