How Do You Want to Learn?
Welcome to the KMFRC's Second Language Training (SLT)
These services are available to our CAF spouses in Kingston and area who are 19+
- Option #1: Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) spouses can request a license from their local MFRC to access Rosetta Stone, the self-directed online program. If no licenses are available, the applicant may be put on a waitlist.
- Option #2: Pour l’amour du français, and For the Love of English are the two National learning programs offered by LRDG (Language Research Development Group). Family members can request access to the online self-study portal.
- Option #3: Family members may be able to request a self-directed portal (LRDG) same as option #2 with the addition of a weekly online class with a tutor. Courses with a tutor are offered quarterly, so applicants may be put on a waitlist.
