Chapels & Chaplains

Chapels & Chaplains

Base Chapels

The religious program for the Base is designed to provide all members of the military community with opportunities similar to those afforded by the various churches in civilian communities. The two chapels are located next to one another on Lundy's Lane at Batoche Avenue in the centre of the Fort Henry Heights Married Quarters and both have active congregations. The chapels also provide a central meeting place for all service personnel and their families who are most welcome to join in the various activities. Whatever your Christian background happens to be, we are sure you will find a warm welcome at the chapel you choose to attend.

Mass Times

The regular schedule includes a French Mass at 0930 and English Mass at 1100 on Sundays.
From mid-June to September a Bilingual Mass is offered at 1030.
Wednesday Mass begins 1130.

Sacramental Preparation

For Baptismal preparation, 1st Confession, 1st Communion, Confirmation and Marriage, make an appointment with the Padre at extension 4223 on a base telephone line.
The chaplain will meet with you to discuss what is involved.
