Family Support for Ill or Injured CF Members

Our Family Liaison Officers (FLO) offer services in the form of both direct counselling and comprehensive referral services for Canadian Forces families and Veterans who are ill or injured. This service is co-located with other affiliate service providers at the Transition Centre (TC) (Building L-106, immediately to the north of Base Headquarters). This service is free of charge and confidential.

The FLO’s are a specialized service to assist family members with the following concerns:

  • Support injured and ill CF members, veterans, and their families
  • Aid the families of these individuals by implementing flexible and voluntary social support services, customized to the specific requirements of each family.
  • Work with individuals, couples, and families to assist the recovery and rehabilitation of the entire family unit.
  • The multi-disciplinary nature of the TC team allows for fast and efficient coordination of various different services, all located under one roof.
