General
The Vikings Aquatic Club represents the Dollard-Des-Ormeaux (DDO) school, but is entirely supervised by the coaches of the Community Recreation Department team at Base Valcartier. We are registered with Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), the Quebec City region and Chaudière-Appalaches. The Vikings welcome children from the 3rd year of primary to the end of high school for the 2019-2020 school year. They will take part in structured trainings to deepen their learning of different styles of competitive swimming.

The swimmers in this age group participate in weekly training. The goal is to introduce the swimmers to a more rigorous training while maintaing the notion of pleasure. RSEQ swimming is a secondary school league. Grade 3 and 4 cannot participate in competitions.

Involvement of Parents
Pre-Season Parents' Meeting** Only in Fall**
You will be invited to a pre-season meeting during which we will share our opertation, objectives and our expectations during the 2019-2020 season. At the same time, we want to know your expectations and answer any questions you may have.

Competition
Like every club in the community, we need to get involved in the organization of competitions by providing volunteer officials. The role of the officials are to time swimmers or to monitor turns and report disqualifications. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your child's sport and to watch competitions in heat of the action rather than in the stands.
Methods of Payment
Registration can be paid in full by credit, debit, cheque or cash. You may request a maximum of 3 pre-authorized deductions to pay the full amount over a longer period.
