CLIMBING Climbing is a sport that requires agility, flexibility, strength and muscular endurance. Great challenges adapted to each age group and each person. Bring your running shoes and wear a sport clothing. All other equipment is provided. Please note that the presence of a parent is mandatory in the Spiders, Lizards 1-2-3 and Climbers 1 classes. Courses are 8 weeks long. Spiders: This climbing course is for children aged 4 to 6 years old. Its goal is to explore climbing through play and challenges so that the child develops confidence, coordination and agility while having fun. A follow-up notebook will be filled out by the instructor at the end of each course to help monitor the child's progress. *** All participants must be actively accompanied by an adult. The parent will assist during the rope climbs and they will guide the child during the extra activities. Lizards 1, 2 et 3: This climbing course is for children between 7 and 12 years old who wish to start climbing or who have completed the Spiders course. Its goal is to explore the safety techniques and physical skills required for climbing through play and challenges. The child will learn to master heights and develop agility, muscular strength and coordination. At the end of the session, the child will receive a progress log to indicate whether he or she has successfully completed level 1, 2 or 3 of the course. Upon successful completion, they will receive a carabiner as a reward. Upon successful completion of Level 3, the child will be able to register for Climbing Level 1. *** The participants in Lizard 1,2,3 must be accompanied by an adult who will assist him/her during the rope climbs and guide him/her in the technical activities. Climbers 1, 2 et 3: This climbing course is the continuation of the Lizard course and is for children aged 7 to 12 years old with an intermediate to advanced climbing level. Its goal is to deepen safety techniques and to acquire the physical and technical skills specific to climbing, through challenges, so that the child becomes a seasoned and autonomous climber. At the end of the session, the child will receive a progress log to indicate whether he or she has successfully completed level 1, 2 or 3 of the course. Beginner Taekwondo (beginner, white, white-yellow bar) Aimed at athletes starting Taekwondo for the first time and white bar yellow belts aged between 6 and 99 years old. Often parents also start Taekwondo at the same time as their child. We will teach them all the material to progress to the yellow belt level. For example: moving, kicking, punching, blocking, forms, self-defense, introduction to Olympic fighting. At the end of the session, if the student has learned the material well, they will be invited to take an exam to obtain a yellow belt. Club members actively participate in the opening of the shooting ranges on weekends. These facilities allow for the safe practice of shooting, with all types of firearms, at distances ranging from 25 to 1200 m. Civilians can register provided they are sponsored by a military member of the club.
