What will happen to my membership for the closed time ?
-Contracts by delegation of pay for holders (active military) will be suspended. Payments will be resumed upon reopening.
- Subscription payments for full members (veterans, ordinary and associate) are stopped. Upon reopening, the contracts will be extended for the period equivalent to closing, depending on the end date of each contract.

What will happen to the recreation programming ? 


The recreation department must make changes to its service offering following the repercussions of the reconfinement announcement.

Customers will be contacted for reimbursement by the end of January.

More details will be released by Thursday, January 14.

CLUB
- Shooting Club (CTRV): Registrations are in progress. The AGM will be held on February 25, 2021. 
- Club de chasse et pêche (CCPV): Registration will begin on January 15. The AGM will be held on January 31, 2021.
- Figure Skating Club (FSC): Courses for the fall session will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The date of the AGM is undetermined. 

Will I have a refund for the cancellation of winter 2021 courses ?
All customers who have paid by credit card will be refunded automatically via e-commerce. 
Customers who paid by other methods will be required to complete the refund request form.

Can I continue to receive my personal training plans ?
Our fitness instructor remains available to meet your needs by preparing specific workouts based on your equipment at home. The meetings will be done using the Zoom application. Contact her for more information.
 

Can I continue to practice my sports freely ?
No, the sports center and arena have been closed since October 8, 2020.

Is the indoor pool open ? 
No, all facilities have been closed for classes and free activities since October 8, 2020.

What measures should I take during my visit to the Sports Centre in relation to the VIDOC-19 situation?
The Valcartier Recreation Department will implement the measures requested by the Public Health Department and the various sports associations. Visit the covid measure page and the Sports Center page for more information.

Can I play badminton / squash?
No, the sports center and arena have been closed since October 8, 2020.

What about figure skating club activities?
All figure skating club activities (courses and free skating) are cancelled and a pro-rated refund will be made for the fall 2020 session. The refund will be processed automatically to your file as soon as we have confirmation of the amount that Skate Canada is reimbursing on the insurance.

What happens to leagues that were paused in the fall and are now cancelled?
All leagues are cancelled and a pro-rated refund will be made for the fall 2020 session if applicable.

What happens if the closure is extended after February 8?
The entire team stays abreast of the evolution of public health guidelines. We will keep you informed as soon as different measures are announced.

How long can break-time swimming activities be postponed?  
-Swimming lessons will be postponed until March 14 at the most. After this date, if we have not been able to start the session, all swimming lessons will be refunded. Please refer to the refund question for the procedure.  

I am military and I have to complete my "Out" release form before leaving Base Valcartier; what do I have to do?- It is also possible to come to the Sports Centre between 8:00 a.m. and noon from Monday to Friday for the receipt form.

Can I have access to RV parking?
Yes, the parking key will be accessible according to the following schedule:
  • Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Monday and Thursday from 4:00 to 7:30 pm.
  • Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

What will happen to my subscription for the October blackout period?
- Pay delegation contracts for incumbents (active military personnel) will be suspended. Payments will be resumed upon reopening. 
- Subscription payments for full members (veterans, ordinary and associate members) will be stopped. Upon reopening, contracts will be extended for the duration equivalent to the closure, depending on the end date of each contract.

What will happen to recreation programming?

Depending on the type of activities in our programming, some programs are cancelled for the session and others are suspended for the duration of the break. Some courses will now be offered virtually.

Two options are considered, either real time or pre-recorded.

Can I continue to practice my sports freely?
No, the sports center and the arena are closed as of October 8, 2020.

Is the indoor pool open?
No, all facilities are closed for classes and free activities as of October 8, 2020.

What measures should I take during my visit to the Sports Centre in relation to the VIDOC-19 situation?

Being an individual activity, shooting club participants can continue their activities. However, we bring your attention on the respect of the practice alone or in dyad with the members of your family bubble while respecting the 2m distance.  No competition or organized activity will be authorized.

Is the hunting and fishing club affected by the new measures?
Being an individual activity, the participants of the hunting and fishing club can continue their activities. However, we bring your attention on the respect of practicing it alone or in dyad with the members of your family bubble while respecting the 2m distance.  No competition or organized activity will be authorized.

What about figure skating club activities?
All figure skating club activities (courses and free skating) are cancelled and a pro-rated refund will be made for the fall 2020 session. The refund will be processed automatically to your file as soon as we have confirmation of the amount that Skate Canada is reimbursing on the insurance.

An employee will be present at the Sports Centre between 8:00 a.m. and noon Monday to Friday for the release form.

What measures should I take during my visit to the Sports Centre in relation to the VIDOC-19 situation?

 Will I be reimbursed for my courses for the winter 2020 session?
Yes, in order to speed up the process, we will ask you to fill out the following form.

 What will happen with my subscription?
You will get a refund for this period as follows:
   - Fixed rate subscription (6 or 12 months): Extension of your subscription for the equivalent duration of the closing.
   - Continuous subscription (balance delegation): Your first payment will be in October and not in September to offset your April payment.

What are the next upcoming events?
All our events are cancelled until January 2021.
