Latest Updates - Frequently Asked Questions

Will the summer session take place?
No, we will unfortunately not be offering a summer summer this year.

Will I be reimbursed for the missed classes from the Winter 2020 session?
Yes. Please help accelerate the process by completing the following form.

What will happen to my membership?
All SRP memberships were suspended in April once it was apparent that facilities would be closed for an undetermined period of time. Memberships will be reactived once our activities reinitialize.
As memberships were actif for a short period of time after we closed our doors, but before receiving government directives, the difference in payments will be reimbursed as follows :
   - Fixed-term membership (6 or 12 months): Extension of your membership for the equivalent duration of the closure.
   - Continuous membership (military pay): Credit will be added to your account for future registrations.

When will I have access to the sectors?
Hunting : We are awaiting more details pertaining to permissions needed.
Fishing: The 2020 season has been canceled.

When will I have access to the shooting ranges?
While recreation activities are opening across the province, the CAF remain an essential service. As such, no shooting activities will be available until the governement allows everyone to return to work.

What are the upcoming events
All our events have been canceled or postponed until the government authorizing gatherings.

Will the Summer Camp take place this year?
It is currently impossible for us to take a position on this matter as we have to wait for government direction. Registration has therefore been postponed indefinitely. Once we have more details, steps will be taken to help create or update your files in order to accelerate the process.

Why is general information for the Summer Camp not visible at the moment?
We would like to provide you with the most comprehensive and accurate information possible. In light of the situation, we will provide you with details of each camp once we have a better understanding of government directives.

Is the Summer Camp tax-deductible?
Yes. Please be advised that you will receive a relevé 24 for your taxes for all the camps we offer.
We have mailed all 2019 tax slips. If you have not received it, please contact customer service by email at: loisirsvalcartier@cfmws.com

Please note that if you wish to separate the tax costs between the 2 parents, we recommend that you make 2 separate invoices with some weeks to one parent-payer and the other weeks to the second parent-payer. Our system does not allow you to simply split the costs for the Relevé 24.

My child has special needs, can I sign them up for the whole Summer?
If you have a child with special needs and you are a Regular PSL member, we invite you to complete the application form before April 30, 2020 so that it can be evaluated quickly and a follow-up can be done as soon as possible. The dates when we offer the support service are from June 25 to August 7, 2020 (7 weeks maximum).  You can apply for 1 week as well as for all 7 weeks.
