PERSONAL PROGRAMS
Individualized training programs meeting specific training needs
SUPPLEMENTARY PT
Direct supervision of PT Monday - Friday from 1100-1200hrs with monthly baseline evaluations for members who:
- require improvement in their fitness in order to pass their annual fitness evaluation / prepare for a course;
- are physically unfit, overweight, or requiring remedial fitness development throughout the day; &
- have no medical restrictions, working to improve fitness levels bridging back into Unit PT.
- are looking to add additional PT to their regime
*Entry into the program is through one of the following means: individual, supervisor, or fitness evaluation referral.
RECONDITIONING PROGRAMS: Referral Required
Reconditioning Specialist: develops programs for members with medical limitations (e.g. injuries)
RECONDITIONING DIRECTED PROGRAMMING
1. FITNESS DEVELOPMENT
Direct supervision of exercise sessions Monday - Friday from 1100-1200hrs with monthly baseline evaluations for members
2. PES FITNESS PROGRAM
Combination of specialized classes and prescribed individual programming with monthly progress evaluations.
- Intended for members injured or recovering from injury.
*Entry into the program is through referrals from Health Svcs or Physio.
